Perfect escape for couples

The food at the restaurant was amazing, especially the breakfast with an very nice variety. We spent our mornings sipping coffee while taking in the views of the mountains and castles in the distance, it really felt magical.

A Perfect Romantic Getaway with Stunning Views

We stayed in the KoenigsNest Comfort Double room for four nights and loved every second. The spa facilities exceeded our expectations, and breakfast was a highlight with made-to-order omelets. Don't miss the local mineral water fountain in your room. it's refreshing after a day of hiking!

Had a great time with friends! The views of Neuschwanstein Castle from our room were fantastic. We enjoyed hikes with mountain guide Basti and learned about beekeeping. Breakfast was top-notch especially the fresh pastries. Definitely worth enjoying some castle tours and the wellness relaxation packages if you can.

However, one downside was the inconsistent customer service. We felt ignored once when trying to arrange tickets to the castle and had some trouble getting assistance from staff on multiple occasions.

My experience at Das Ruebezahl was excellent. The room I stayed in was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable bed and a large balcony with breathtaking views of the nearby castles. The breakfast buffet offered an impressive variety, including freshly baked pastries and organic juices. The staff provided attentive service, making my work-related stay enjoyable and productive. The location was also convenient for accessing local attractions, which I appreciated.

The breakfast spread was a dream, featuring fresh pastries and a fabulous view of Neuschwanstein that had me swooning! Plus, the spa vibes were on point—comfy and filled with thoughtful touches.

We booked a suite with a fireplace that turned out to be a bit of a tease since it was too hard to breathe after using it. A king-sized bed would’ve also been a welcome upgrade instead of two singles squished together.

the pool was slightly on the small side , but the breakfast was absolutely exceptional (freshly made waffles! ). the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive , and the room had a breathtaking view of the mountains. loved the option to borrow bikes for a ride!

The welcome with a glass of fine sparkling wine set a pleasant tone for our stay. The room provided an exceptional view of the iconic castle, coupled with a charming backdrop of grazing cows. I appreciated the attentive staff who managed our requests promptly, making us feel well cared for.

The breakfast layout could use more organization to avoid crowding during peak times.

There’s an evident lack of consistency with room features. some are surprisingly outdated!!! In-room coffee and tea facilities would be a nice touch to elevate the experience, instead of having to rely on hotel services!!!

staying at das ruebezahl was a treat! the outdoor spa area is truly stunning, offering breathtaking views of the castle and mountains. we loved lounging under the sun by the pool and relaxing in the jacuzzi. the room was cozy, and the restaurant served delightful food that made our stay even better.
